Ruby F. Galloway, 62, of Malvern passed away May 11, 2014.
Ruby was born April 9, 1952 in Marshalltown, IA to Leonard and Dorothy (Gorsuch) Blattel. Ruby enjoyed doing crossword puzzles and arts and crafts. She was a member of the Salvation Army Church in Iowa.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Anna Davidson; and grandson, Landon Armstrong.
Ruby is survived by her husband, Alvin Galloway of Malvern; two sons: Hebert (Tina) Galloway of Malvern, and Bobby (Shelley) Galloway of Eldorado, IL; two daughters: Phyllis (Jeff) Hathcock of Magnet Cove, and Heather Armstrong of Malvern; brother, Leonard Blattel Jr. of Madrid IA, two sisters: Doris Blattel of Orlando FL, and Iris (David) Langland of Marshalltown, IA; six grandchildren: John Davidson, Shane (Emily) Davidson, Brittan (Kari) McDaniel, Jesse Armstrong, Austin Galloway, and Jake Galloway; two great-grandchildren: Brayden Davidson and Braxton McDaniel; and two godchildren: Ashley (Brandon) Houff and Breah.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 14, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Atkinson Funeral Home Chapel. Services will be held on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Atkinson Chapel with Bro. Troy Cate officiating. Burial will follow at Rockport Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Herbert Galloway, Shane Davidson, Fred Shells, Brittan McDaniel, Jeff Hathcock, David Rubly, Nick McDaniel, and Melvin Perkins.
